On behalf of Incheon Foundation for International Exchange, Chief Lee Sun-A presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Xu Zhi, Dean of DUFL’s Confucius Institute in University of Incheon, for his contribution and efforts in enhancing the friendship and cultural exchange between China and South Korea on Sept. 7th.
Founded in Oct., 2005, Incheon Foundation for International Exchange is a section of Incheon Municipal Government, andworks as a NPO focusing on international cooperation and understanding of Incheon through hosting and taking part in some communicative activities.
Led by Xu, DUFL’S Confucius Institute in University of Incheon has been actively carrying out cooperation with Incheon Foundation in recent years, mostly in culture, which has received great repercussions in Incheon, and even in the whole country of South Korea.
The certificate is not only for Mr. Xu’s efforts in Chinese education and cultural promotion over the years, but also for the best wishes on the development of cultural exchange between China and South Korea. (Reported by Zhao Jie)
